Welcome to Mrs. Abbott’s Dream Team
Hello Families,
We had another great week with almost a 100% turnout again for our one-to-one conferences! I look forward to our Class Meeting today! Remember if you are not able to make it, I will post the recording in Classroom. The recording didn't work last week because it failed. I have no idea why. So hopefully it will go better today. Mrs. Gruchot will be joining us today to present on the Link program for next year. Mrs. Jaisak will also be joining! So I hope you can make it at 11:00 because lots of exciting information is coming your way! I am also looking forward to our one-to-one meetings this Wednesday and Thursday. Here is the new Sign-up Genius. We already have 19 students and parents signed up! Here is May 18th-22nd Week at a Glance. Just a reminder please don't have students request access to this document. They only need to view it. The links will work fine. Also, I have had many parents request e-Book information. Mrs. Bacolor has lots of information below. They also offer Library Chats on Wednesday. I want to encourage all students to continue with their daily schedules that include the growth mindset Google form, Lexia, IXL Diagnostic, Moby, and Khan as well as reading for 20-30 minutes each day if possible along with the focus reading lessons this week. If you have any questions remember students can message me in itslearning or you can always email me. Thank you for your support. Have a great week!

Here are a few updates from our media center.
- The next Library/Media Choice Boards are available and can be found by clicking here. This will take them to a Google Slide Virtual Library classroom with links to library enrichment choice boards and other resources.
- Please encourage your students to share their 1st choice boards with me if they've completed at least 3 boxes. I'll make sure to give them a shoutout on our eResources website.
- The Sora Reading App is now available to our students. This is a reading app that contains eBooks and audiobooks. Plus it also connects to our public libraries. I've included a few screencasts on the homepage of our eResources site (scroll down just a bit) for information on how to access this collection. In addition, more eBooks will be purchased and added soon either to Sora or Destiny Discover. I'll let you know as soon as the additional titles become available.
- Stay tuned for details about the upcoming Ren Baldwin Virtual Technology Festival! This event will take place on Wednesday, May 20th. The times and the links to access this live event will be shared this week
