Dear Families,
      Report cards will be coming home this week. Your child has been working hard at reaching his/her smart goals. Each child should be recording their data if it's an essential standard from assessments in the "Data Portfolio" section in Google Classroom at school. For example, Unit 1 math assessment has been completed and the data should be recorded. At WINN time I have been working with all students who need more support if the standard has not met mastery. Some students are currently working on retaking assessments if necessary. Many students still need more practice in multiplication and division fluency. I encourage students who have been receiving 1 or 2’s on the quizzes to practice outside of school. In other areas in math, students can refer to videos in GC. In Social Studies there are support Quizlets (flashcards and games) that have also been uploaded into GC for extra practice. As far as reading all students should be working towards smart goals that include selecting books across genres in their reading range that they enjoy and can comprehend. These smart goals include reading at home at least 20 minutes a night. In writing, most students have uploaded an image and video of their personal narrative essays in Classroom. If it's not there yet it's because of time and our schedule. And will be there soon. Enjoy:)

There are videos and you can also respond in your Science journal or create a Google Doc and share it with me. If you need extra reading material you can go to Epic in Symbaloo.
