Mrs. Abbott's Dream Team

Dear Families,                        I would like to thank all the students and families for a wonderful year! I would also like to thank the many volunteers who helped in and out of the classroom as well as on some specific projects for us. Much of our success as a classroom is due to the volunteers we have! Report cards will be mailed next week. I noted in the narrative that the students worked really hard at reaching individual goals!  I also encourage families to try to keep some level of academic structure in regards to reading, writing, and math. I realize many of you have great after school and summer routines already set in place. However, I also know from experience that summertime can get away from us:) I gave some ideas in the report card narrative to try to stay a bit on track throughout the summer. A long relaxing summer is important, but September always comes. "If we don't use it we will lose it." I wish everyone a wonderful and much needed time with your families. I know I will see many of you on the beach or at the ballpark.
