Hello Parents,
Our Halloween party was a huge success! Thank you to the Halloween committee and families who helped put together such a fun afternoon. The students played bingo, decorated cookies, made a beautiful fall wreath and of course, all the delicious and creative treats were gobbled up! It really was a relaxing afternoon and all of the students were engaged and well mannered!
The  READ-IN was wonderful on Friday! The entire class came walking through the doors, some of them in their pajamas holding tightly to stuffed animals, pillows and snacks and drinks. There was lots of chatter and excitement from everyone. Once the READ-IN began, the students found their cozy corners and perfect reading spots and quickly got situated. Many of them carefully stacking their books and organizing snacks and items. It didn't take long before the room quieted and everyone was still reading their favorites books. It was a delightful morning and as a teacher of reading, nothing is more beautiful than the sound and sight of students reading.
