Hello Parents,
Our Halloween party was a huge success! Thank you to the Halloween committee and families who helped put together such a fun afternoon. The students played bingo, decorated cookies, made a beautiful fall wreath and of course, all the delicious and creative treats were gobbled up! It really was a relaxing afternoon and all of the students were engaged and well mannered!
The READ-IN was wonderful on Friday! The entire class came walking through the doors, some of them in their pajamas holding tightly to stuffed animals, pillows and snacks and drinks. There was lots of chatter and excitement from everyone. Once the READ-IN began, the students found their cozy corners and perfect reading spots and quickly got situated. Many of them carefully stacking their books and organizing snacks and items. It didn't take long before the room quieted and everyone was still reading their favorites books. It was a delightful morning and as a teacher of reading, nothing is more beautiful than the sound and sight of students reading.

Welcome to Mrs. Abbott’s Dream Team Dear Students, Here is an update: I added a new topic in GC called Mystery Science Mini-Lesson. There are videos and you can also respond in your Science journal or create a Google Doc and share it with me. If you need extra reading material you can go to Epic in Symbaloo. I encourage you to go to Khan Mappers for math too. Also, Mrs. Jasiak has an S.E.L. Challenge. The link to the challenge is below. I will also add it to the S.E.L. topic in Google Classroom. There is also a code to use in GC from Mrs. Bacolor below:) From Mrs. Jasiak: Social-Emotional Learning Challenge for Week #1 with our students and families. Our plan and commitment is to have each week’s challenge prepared for you by this time on Tuesdays in order to meet your Wednesday 8 AM expectation. Our plan is to review the content we have already provided the students to date. Link to challenge below: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OrhpPb0hjTqwo...
