Dear Families,

We had another productive and amazing week! This year's 2019-20 Dream Team are a bunch of wonderful students. Thank you for all of your support and commitment in helping the start of our school year go so smoothly. There are many tasks that all of us have to do to prepare, and I couldn't do it without your help. I really appreciate all of you!
Most students are done with the NWEA reading and math test. On Monday and Tuesday, our class will take placement tests in Lexia and Moby. After having a couple months off it's not uncommon for students to fall victim to the "summer slide" . If your child has to repeat a level or two in Lexia, don't be alarmed. It's not uncommon. We will go over the data at your child's conference in October.
Just a reminder that Back-to-School Night will be Monday night from 6-6:45. All 4th-grade parents/guardians are to meet in the Media Center for the start of our presentation. Following the presentation in the Media Center, we will go up to the classroom for a little more information and fill out paperwork. See you then!
